Senior Machine Learning Engineer
Andrew is a Senior ML Engineer working with the Innovation Team helping develop cutting-edge products that extract actionable insights from geospatial data/analytics. Prior to joining Atlas AI, Andrew worked as a Senior ML Engineer in the Products Development Department of Intracom Defense (IDE), a large company within the Greek defense sector, with a focus on Military Drone Geotracking for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions. In parallel, Andrew worked as an Industrial Research Fellow within the National Center for Scientific Research "Demokritos", Athens, Greece, where he generated research proposals that funded published work on autonomous maritime vessels, digital twins, and rapid city-scale road network extraction techniques from Satellite/Aerial imagery for the purpose of aiding Humanitarian Assistance & Disaster Relief (HADR) efforts.
Andrew is based in Athens, Greece, and holds a PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics from the University of Cambridge (Whittle Laboratory), an MSc in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London, and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from King's College London.
