Agricultural Data Scientist
Jake works with crop simulations and remote sensing data to produce high resolution agricultural yield estimates at scale. Before joining Atlas AI, he was part of the Lobell Lab at Stanford University, where he researched the interactions between soil quality, fertilizer effectiveness, and crop yields in smallholder agricultural systems. He also worked as a geospatial data analyst at the Cohn Lab at Tufts University, completing data tasks related to climate and land use change in the Brazilian Amazon. Jake holds a B.S. in Computer and Environmental Science from Northeastern University and a M.S. in Earth System Science from Stanford University.
